The City of Gaithersburg is celebrating and honoring Asian American and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander Heritage Month in May with exhibits and a proclamation highlighting the “culture, heritage, and achievements of our Asian American and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander neighbors.”

The Montgomery County Planning Department is inviting the Damascus community, businesses, and other stakeholders to collaborate on a placemaking initiative for the Damascus Main Street area. The kickoff meeting will be held on Monday, June 3 at 7 p.m. in the cafeteria at Damascus High School to launch the Damascus Placemaking Festival Effort. RSVPs are encouraged but not required.
Dunkin’ has announced it is hosting the grand opening for its newest location in Rockville at 9761 Traville Gateway Drive on Saturday, May 11. Starting at 9:00 a.m., the first 100 guests in line will receive Free Coffee for a Year. Dunkin’ has taken over the 1,500 SF back half of the building that was previously home to Capital One Bank.
