Wednesday Morning Possibilities

We are now within 72 hours so I think it’s appropriate to discuss a little threat that could be coming our way.

Temperatures are likely to be in the 60s on Tuesday with some rain coming our way. There’s also a chance the rain flips to snow late Tuesday into Wednesday morning.
Due to the warm temperatures during the day Tuesday, surface temps will remain well above freezing when/if the snow does come overnight. If snow comes down at a heavy rate overnight, we could overcome temp issues, but that remains to be seen with temps expected to drop into the mid 30s overnight and then dip below freezing late Wednesday morning.
With this type of frontal wave setup, we have to keep an eye on it as we get closer to the action.
Right now, the most likely scenario is a coating to an inch of snow with the grass getting covered and wet roads. There is a possibility it becomes conversational flakes that barely do a thing and the chance of a couple inches that make roads slick.
We’ll keep an eye on this and have updates as needed!

Where is the website with the ratings, etc? I asked on Twitter but you never respond on Twitter.

MoCoSnow is now a tab under The MoCoShow. When a prediction is made, you’ll see what each of the ratings mean.
