Nats left fielder Juan Soto was all the talk at North Bethesda Middle School this past week.

The 21 year old Soto surprised a group of students in the morning as they waited for their bus. We’re told he is friends with a family whose child attends the school So he decided to stop in and say hello.

Soto took pictures with any student who wanted one and gave them an experience they’ll never forget in the process.

Why are the children face covers?

      Because they’re children

Too bad you couldn’t use a smiling baseball.

Did you mean to ask- Why are the children’s faces covered?

Because they are minors and it would most likely require the permission of their parents to show them.

    I am so jealous.
Juan Soto come downcounty as seeing you a hispanic latino peer would def be a boon for rolling toilet, new hamp estates, takoma, piney branch, montgomery knolls, forest knolls, pine crest, oak view, east silver spring, eastern, sligo creek, rock creek forest schools.
( and yes I know he is Dominican while many students are Guatemalan or Salvadorean)
