Everyone is worried about their gift cards and while that’s unfortunate, think about all of us who lost our jobs working there…

    • Anonymous on May 4, 2020 at 8:21 pm

Boo frickin’ hoo. You can get another job – we will never get our gift cards back.

      • Me on May 19, 2020 at 10:37 am

I have cards as well not used. But to lose a job is devastating. You are heartless. But what goes around comes around. Good luck to all who lost their jobs.

      • Sonya Naik on July 29, 2020 at 8:25 pm

I’m looking for Sue and Jessica from the Kentlands location. Can anyone help me???

    • Ana Rothstein on August 21, 2020 at 8:02 am

this so bad this company should have the decency at least to refund people’s money .
      This is no good.

  7. anonymous on March 23, 2020 at 3:44 pm

Just want you to know that a long time client is thinking of all of you in spite of losing several hundred dollars by purchasing a large package of appointments at a discounted rate a year in advance. Am really going to miss my colorist, hair treatment and stylist, and others who worked there. ? Hope before this horrible virus mess ends you can find another job. ??

  16. Susan Stacy on May 30, 2020 at 2:32 pm

You need to let us ALL know what to do about gift cards we received. Very unfair to do this without notice to customers. Please respond and let everyone know what to do.

  17. Ke on June 4, 2020 at 8:23 pm

It’s a very unfair virus 🦠 . So sorry to those who lost jobs. 😢

  18. Disappointed Customer on June 12, 2020 at 7:55 am

Although unfortunate for those who lost their jobs, it is also frustrating to lose money. Anyone who purchased gift cards not only did it to save money but as an investment in the staff!!! It’s a lose in both ways. Sounds like this company did not invest in their staff. Somewhere someone made bad investments if they laid-off staff as quickly as they did as this “pandemic” hit. Too convenient if you ask me that they just closed their doors.

I hope the economy reopens quickly and all of those who lost jobs get them back.

Note to self, I will not invest in something like this again. Times are too unsecured!

  19. Nancy Steinberg on June 12, 2020 at 12:46 pm

It is quite disgraceful that Mynd Spa- formerly Elizabeth Arden, the classiest of classy- has not responded to any questions about gift card refunds. Sort of like stealing I believe. I have a $300 gift card that I would like a refund on.

    • Taylor Reno on June 17, 2020 at 9:12 am

I am looking for your hair stylist Robert. Would appreciate any contact info you have. He’s a spectacular stylist

    • Mica DeShields on June 18, 2020 at 9:56 pm

I also have about $300 in gift cards. I really wish I had used them! They had really good products that I wish they would let us use our gift cards on! Sorry about the job losses!

  20. Amy Katims on June 18, 2020 at 7:16 am

I too have a $230 gift card that was given to me in Jan 2020. Will they be refunded? Please reply.

    Thank you, Amy

  23. Mary L on June 20, 2020 at 9:23 am

I would like contact information for Jackie Graham she is a masseuse. She does the best deep tissue massage ever!

  24. Cheryl Skolnick on June 23, 2020 at 9:54 am

My heart goes out to all of the team members of the Mynd Salon and Spa! Unfortunately, due to COVID many of us find ourselves in similar financial situations, where every dollar counts.

I too have purchased a gift card for $350. If anyone hears about reimbursement, please post.

  25. Customer on June 25, 2020 at 4:35 pm

Online it says that Mynd spa declared Ch. 7 bankruptcy and permanently closed its doors. This is not a temporary closure for covid.

I have, I think, $750 in Red Door gift cards (multiple Christmas presents). I asked Arden if they would honor the card, and they said no (I will never give them a penny of my business ever again).

My guess is that we need to file a statement of claim in the Mynd bankruptcy proceeding.

    • Angela on July 16, 2020 at 9:10 am

      I totally agree!!

      • Devan on August 18, 2020 at 2:18 pm

Commenting to stay on the chain. Would like to join you in filing a statement of claim if you do so.

  26. Rhonda Bailey on July 2, 2020 at 10:40 am

How do I get refunded for my gift cards?
This is ridiculous! Businesses are such thieves.

  27. Debra yetter Silver on July 4, 2020 at 5:57 pm

    This is crazy!!

  29. SM on July 21, 2020 at 1:43 pm

I have $1000 dollars in gift cards for Red Door and Mynd. I would like to be reimbursed as well. The day before the went bankrupt, they tried to get me to prepay all of my massages for the year! Imagine if I had done that!

  30. Susan on July 23, 2020 at 9:05 pm

I also have a gift card that I’d like to use on merchandise since services are no longer offered. Reimbursement would be better.

  31. Hannah on July 24, 2020 at 12:14 pm

I felt like how they did it was unprofessional. They blatantly took money out of my account less than a few days before they filed. I reached out to them numerous of times and had no response. Is there away to reach out to certain staff to see if they are providing alternative services?

  32. Rochelle Penn on July 26, 2020 at 8:10 am

I Too have $225.00 in gift cards. I would like to have them reimburse, or find a spa that can welcome them. My sympathy to those who lost there jobs.

  33. Jill Wagner on July 26, 2020 at 2:07 pm

    Has anyone received an answer?

  34. Luna on August 4, 2020 at 2:49 pm

This is crazy. I just found out today that the Mynd (Red Door) closed without any warning. There should of been a heads up so we could of redeem our unused gift cards.

  35. Vanetta Wallace on August 9, 2020 at 12:12 pm

I am just finding out about this! I was a member of the monthly membership and had an appointment for March 16th which they called me that morning and informed me that they had to close due to the pandemic and i would be contacted upon opening to redeem. It was for 2 months $200!! I need to get that money back! Definitely sorry about the situation and the employees but an email would have been good

  36. Duane T Futrell on August 11, 2020 at 11:52 pm

  37. Kristen Traina on August 16, 2020 at 10:38 pm

I have over 300 dollars in gift cards. We were given no warning to come and redeem. What a ridiculous waste

  38. Devan on August 18, 2020 at 2:10 pm

Hello! Just saw the news today and am concerned about my unused giftcards as well. Has anyone made contact with customer service?

Would like to join you in filing a statement of claim if you do so.

    • Lauren on August 19, 2020 at 9:20 am

Also have a gift card. Has anyone else tried the Villa Floriani website That says they are taking unused gift cards from the salon for product purchases? Or is this a scam? They are saying you can buy their products with the gift card money? Their products were sold at the Red Door Salon.

    • Rochelle on August 28, 2020 at 6:08 pm

Yes I would like to join in a statement claim also. I have $350.00 in gift cards

  40. Lydia on August 27, 2020 at 12:56 pm

I would also like to join you in filing a statement of claim.

  41. shana on August 27, 2020 at 4:17 pm

i have a $100 gift card to use. i was saving it to use it for my wedding. how do i get a refund back for this card?

  42. Amy on August 27, 2020 at 8:09 pm

I don’t know if there’s a way to receive a refund for unused gift cards. I have one for $250 and I contacted Villa Floriani about their offer. Basically, they’ll give me 50% off any purchase up to $500 — but anything I buy at 50% off requires payment. So if I put $500 worth of items in my cart, Villa Floriani will charge me $250, but I still need to pay that $250. They aren’t honoring the gift card per se.

  43. Maggie B on September 2, 2020 at 5:54 am

I too have a $120 Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa gift card balance and will look into using with ,,.

  44. Theresa Schlue on September 7, 2020 at 9:00 pm

I have around $800 in gift cards. Very upset about this whole thing. We should’ve been emailed so we could have used our gift cards for merchandise at the very least. I would definitely join in a suit to re-coup something

  45. Renee Depeiza on September 12, 2020 at 1:47 pm

Is there a claim being set up??? I have 300$ in Gc.
