MCPS to Start Before Labor Day this Upcoming School Year

Montgomery County Public Schools will start before Labor Day in the 2020/2021 school year.

The MoCo Board of Education confirmed the earlier start to the school year at the Tuesday, 12/3 meeting, adopting a calendar that starts school for students on August 31st and ends them on June 16th.

Winter Break will go from 12/24-1/3 (11 days) and Spring Break will go from March 27th-April 5th (10 full days).

    Have they announced the amount of snow days there’ll be? I assume that they must have more snow days since they start before Labor Day.
