Marshall’s Moving to Gaithersburg Square and a Couple Other Openings in the Shopping Center
Last month we let you know that Gaithersburg Square would be undergoing a $6.6 million renovation. With any renovation comes many changes, and we have a few to report today.
Marshall’s, an off-price department store owned by the same company as TJ Maxx, is moving one mile away from its current location in Montgomery Village Plaza on Contour Road in Gaithersburg to Gaithersburg Square. It will be taking over the Bed Bath & Beyond location that announced it will close by the end of 2020.
Ronky Creative Hair Salon and Allure Jewelers have also opened at Gaithersburg Square.
Ronky Creative Hair Salon and Allure Jewelers recently relocated from Lakeforest Mall. The 1,200-square-foot Ronky Creative Hair Salon is located next to Chipotle.
“We love the community and neighborhood,” said owner Ronky Fatimehin. “Gaithersburg Square is known for being the best shopping center in the Gaithersburg area. There’s plenty of foot traffic and the diverse demographic fits perfectly with our salon. We are thrilled about our move to Gaithersburg Square.”
Ronky Creative Hair Salon hours are Monday – Saturday 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. and Sunday 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.All clients, existing and new ones, will receive 15 percent off their first service at the new location.
Allure Jewelers’ 1,400-square-foot full-service store offering jewelry and watch repair, engraving, and appraisals, is located next to Quickway Hibachi. Store hours are Monday- Sunday 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
“I opened Allure Jewelers at Gaithersburg Square to be near my customers and to be part of a busy neighborhood with plenty of pedestrian traffic,” said Allure Jewelers owner Sam Hussain.
